It all started when…

In 2008, I created my first podcast, A Virtual Perception. I was a new business owner looking for unique marketing methods. The show provided business resources and inspiration to the Virtual Assistant industry and was nominated for a Podcast Award in 2009 and again in 2010.

I then created several other podcasts, including Inspiration to Grow On, which showcased stories from inspiring individuals, and Straight Up Entrepreneur, a podcast that took a no-nonsense approach to business.

The idea for Generational Shifts came to me in early 2022 when I started to get curious about parenting topics that I either wanted to learn more about or understand from a different perspective. The many lessons I’ve learned about how to parent from my mother are cherished and deeply ingrained in many of the things I do as a parent today. And, in 2023, raising a small human, the world looks different in many ways, which requires parents to learn, understand, and shed intergenerational parenting techniques or ideas that are no longer applicable or acceptable.

Generational Shifts explores the evolving landscape of parenting, health and wellness, and personal development. The goal for each episode is for listeners to come away with a better understanding of the world in which we live, gain new tools and insight, and thoughtful consideration for each other, no matter what generation we were born and raised.
